The album will be released April 13 on Rounder Records, the independent label with which Nelson just signed.
Songs on the album include hits popularized by the Louvin Brothers ("My Baby's Gone"), Porter Wagoner ("Satisfied Mind"), Jimmy Martin ("Ocean of Diamonds") and others.
Burnett is the producer of the wildly successful O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack as well as last year's all-genre Grammy album of the year, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' Raising Sand.
