Wed., Jan. 13: Buddy Miller, Bill Frisell and Marc Ribot create triple-threat evening

Americana statesman Buddy Miller and renowned instrumentalists and composers Bill Frisell and Marc Ribot kicked off the new year by joining forces in Nashville to record for “a new country project” (according to Ribot’s Web site, MarcRibot.com, which referred to his two collaborators as "living legends").

Some lucky Nashville folks will get the chance to have the first listen to this hotly anticipated collaboration, as the three team up for a show at the Belcourt Theatre (2102 Belcourt Ave., 383-9140).

The three will be backed by Jay Bellerose, Dennis Crouch and Greg Leisz.

The show is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13, and starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
